The Davenport Arts Foundation was started in 2013 to promote the arts as part of Lancaster Ohio’s past and future. The DAF is one of many organizations working in Lancaster to foster both local artists as a source of culture creation as well as bringing outside artists as a source of cultural exchange. The first two initiatives of the DAF is the Church Residency, a 4-8 artist in residence program, and the Young Artists and Engineers Grant, a small materials grant.
